Crispy Chicken


Crispy chicken at the comfort of your home.

Ingredients for marination:
Chicken - 6 pieces
Ginger garlic paste - 1 tbsp
Soy sauce - 1/2 tsp
Chili powder - 1/4 tsp
Mixed herbs - 1/2 tsp
Salt -  a sprinkle

Ingredients for coating and cooking:
All-purpose flour/maida - 1 cup
Ice cold water
Salt 1 tsp
Garlic powder - 1 tsp
Paprika - 1 tsp
Chaat masala - 1/2 tsp
Oil for frying


 
Method:
  • Marinate chicken with the above ingredients for a minimum of 2 hrs.






  • Add the ingredients for coating the chicken. This is a dry mix.

  • Mix them all together.
  • Coat the marinated chicken in the flour.
  • Dip the coated chicken in ice-cold water.
  • Dip the chicken again in the flour, this gives a double coating for a crispy chicken.
  • Repeat this to all the chicken pieces.
  • Use a drying rack for the chicken to rest after frying, this helps the chicken from getting soggy.
  • Fry them in hot oil on medium heat. 


  • Enjoy hot and crispy chicken with your favorite sauce.
