About Me

Hi, I am Nandhini Suresh. Like most of them, I am inspired to cooking from my mom who is a creative and enthusiastic person and tries all types of cuisines. It was a dream for me to carry her recipes to the future family.
This blog will also help others to try and enjoy.
All the recipes in this site are initially got from my moms cooking and my own trial and error of making the recipe to suit the taste buds of my family. And of course learning from my immediate family members, from my in-laws, friends, and other cooking sites and videos.

I was born and bought up in Kalpakkam, married and a full-time homemaker, part-time teacher. My husband and both my sons are a good critic and of course, enjoy my food. Even my in-laws enjoy my cooking, I have learned several tips and ideas of traditional cooking from them and most important hospitality.

Kalpakkam is a township where all region people live in a community, that's one of the reasons my mom tried different cuisines of India, learning from her friends.
Friends and relatives come just to eat at our house because it was always a feast when she cooks.
When we taste any new food at a restaurant we try to find out the ingredients by tasting the food several times and try to replicate it at home. Now we have several websites to learn cooking.

As I live in the US now, I try different cuisines from other countries too. As a family, we try different country food in and around where we live.

This website was created as an initiative from my kids who got me the domain name as a gift for Mother's day with their own small earnings.

My elder son has a passion for photography and most of the final pictures where taken by him initially and later on I learned the techniques from him to take the picture and edit as he was getting busy with his school. My younger son helps me with all the chores, he is the one who takes pictures when both my hands are held, my helping hand. Above all my husband never gives me up, my strength.  He says he is always gifted to have good food before marriage (with his parents)and after marriage (of course with me).

Every family has their own style of cooking, how much ever you learn from all the websites and try, the taste is unique to each cook.
Cook with love. Enjoy your food with your family.
Cook, eat and be happy...
