Chicken Karahi


When you are lazy to cook but craving for restaurant-style food then here is a simple recipe with restaurant taste and don’t have to spend for those fancy ambiance.

Ingredients:
Chicken - 1/2 kg
Ghee - minimum 2 tbsp
Tomato puree - 1/2 cup
Green chili- 4 nos
Ginger garlic paste - 1 tbsp
Curd - 1/2 cup
Cumin powder - 1 tsp
Pepper powder - 1 tsp
Garam masala - 1 tsp
Salt to taste
Ginger finely sliced for garnish


Method:

  • Keep all the ingredients ready.

  • In a Kadai add ghee and fry ginger garlic paste.
  • Add the chicken and saute for a while.
  • When color changes add the green chili.
  • Salt to taste.
  • Tomato puree.
  • When the water reduces add the dry spices, cumin, pepper and, garam masala.


  • When oil separates, add the beaten curd.
  • Keep mixing.
  • Cook until oil separates, garnish with julienned ginger.
  • Enjoy the chicken with roti, naan, or pulao.
