Ragi Mullu Murukku



Ragi is a healthy grain needed to be added in our diet. Just try to replace some of your recipes with ragi instead of maida or rice.
Add two spoons to your dosa batter also turns out good without changing the taste of it.

Preparation Time :10mins | Cooking Time : 15 mins |Serves: 4
Ingredients:

Ragi powder - 2 cups
Rice flour - 1 cup
Gram flour - 3 tsp
Chili powder - 1/2 tsp 
Seeragam/Jeera - 1 tsp
Perungayam/hing - 1/4 tsp
Butter (melted) - 3tsp
Salt - 1/2 tsp or to taste
Oil to fry

Method:

  • Mix all the ingredients with water and make a dough.
  • Make into hand size portions.
  • Put them in the mold and squeeze them directly in the hot oil.

  • Remove when the bubbles reduce and drain them in paper towel.


  • Store in air tight container.
