Aval Laddoo


This is my 25th recipe in my website. Its an instant make recipe, doesn't take a long time. More similar to a rava laddoo, but the taste of aval gives a different flavor to the recipe.


Preparation Time :10 mins | Cooking Time : 15 mins |Serves: 4
Ingredients:

Aval - 1 cup
Sugar - 1/2cup
Ghee - 1/2 cup
Cashews - 10 broken to pieces
Cardamom - 1 pinch

Method:
  • Dry roast the aval/poha in a pan till crispy. Grind to rava consistency.
  • Fry the cashews in little ghee and keep.

  • Powder the sugar.
  • Now add all the dry ingredients together.

  • Heat the remaining ghee and add the mixture, fry for about a min, switch off. 

  • When warm make balls by tightly squeezing in your palms. If you are not comfortable add drops of milk to make the balls. 




  • Aval laddoo is ready.


Note: Adding milk to make the balls reduces the shelf time. Store in refrigerator.
