Ingredients:

Chicken - 2 lb / 1 kg
- Basmati Rice - 4 cups
- Onion - 1 big size, sliced
- Tomato - 2 medium size
- Ginger Garlic paste - 2 tsp
- Mint - 1 cup
- Green chilies - 6 nos
- Red chili - 3 nos
- Fennel/sombu - 1 tsp
- Turmeric - 1/2 tsp
- Chili powder - 2 tsp
- Lemon juice - from 1/2 lemon
- Oil
- Salt to taste.
For Seasoning:
Chicken - 2 lb / 1 kg
- Cinnamon - 1 stick
- Elaichi/ Cardamom - 2 nos
- Cloves - 3 nos
- Star anise - 1 nos
- Black stone flower - 2 pinch
- Bay leaf - 1



- In a cooker add oil, when hot add seasoning ingredients.
- Add sliced onions and keep frying until its color changes.

- Add the ginger garlic paste, ground green chili paste
- When the raw smell leaves, add the tomatoes and mint.


- Fry till they all get soften and blend together.
- Add turmeric,chili powder, salt.


- Now add the chicken and mix with the masala, pressure cook for 1 whistle. (add 1/2 cup water if needed, the onions would leave water)
- Meanwhile wash and soak the rice and keep.
