Laddu


Happy Diwali!

This is my first attempt at making laddu. I enjoyed making both the ways, it was quite the same in taste. 


Preparation Time: 20 mins | Cooking Time: 40 mins | Soaking time:3 hrs

Ingredients:  

Channa dal - 1 cup
Sugar - 1 cup
Cardamom - 1/4 tsp
Orange food color  - a pinch (optional)
Cashews - 1 tsp
Oil 
Ghee

Ingredients:

Besan/ Kadala mavu - 1 cup
Sugar - 1 cup
Cardamom - 1/4 tsp
Food color - optional
Melon seeds - 1 tsp
Oil
Ghee
