Chicken 65


Spicy and tasty non veg appetizer. Having kids at home in summer, we need to keep them busy and of course give them variety of food. My sister in law makes the perfect chicken 65,
she keeps my kids fascinated with her chicken 65 recipe. They always say Mami makes the perfect chicken 65. Just follow this easy to make recipe......

Preparation Time :10 mins | Cooking Time : 30 mins |Serves: 4
Marination for 1 hour or overnight.
Ingredients:
Chicken - 2 pounds/1 kg
Onion - 1 sliced
Curry leaves
Lemon - 1
Oil to fry

Ingredients for Marination:

Yogurt/curd- 1 cup
Ginger garlic paste - 2 tbsp
Chili powder - 1 tbsp or to taste
Corn flour - 1 cup (adjust to coat)
Orange red food coloring - 1/4 tsp 
Salt to taste

Method:
  • Add all the ingredients of the marination to chicken and leave for a minimum  of  1 hr in refrigerator. You can also fry them immediately without marination.  








  • Fry in hot oil, each side for 7 to 8 mins.


  • Drain them in a paper towel, fry some curry leaves and garnish with curry leaves, onions and lemon.
  • You can also have them with a simple almond rice/pulao.
