Banana Walnut Bread

Super moist and perfect breakfast bread, it's also amazing to have with a cup of coffee or tea in my case. You could slice them and wrap them tightly in plastic wrap and make them a good snack for your kids.
It's a great way to use your ripe bananas.
This recipe is so easy, that you don't need any special mixer nor to be a good baker. It turns out perfect with minimum ingredients.

Preparation Time:10 mins | Cooking Time: 35 mins | Makes one loaf

Ingredients:
All-purpose flour - 1 cup
Granulated sugar - 1/2 cup
Oil - 1/4 cup
Egg - 1 no
Vanilla extract - 1/4 tsp
Baking soda - 3/4 tsp
Banana - 2 medium  ( ripe ones)
Walnut - 1/4 cup chopped
Salt - a pinch

Method:
  • Combine sugar, oil, vanilla extract, and egg.
  • Whisk until all the sugar dissolves. (Use a fork if you don't have a whisk)

  • Combine all-purpose flour, baking soda, salt. Mix them together and keep.
  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease your pan and keep ready. I have used a 9*5 loaf pan.

  • Mash the bananas in your hand.

  • Add the mashed bananas to the egg mixture and mix them.

  • Once you have whisked the wet ingredients add the flour mix and fold them together with a spatula.

  • Add the chopped walnuts, fold them all together.

  • Pour in the greased pan. Bake in top rack for 35 mins, or until a thin knife inserted in the center comes out clean.
  • Cool them for 10 mins, and then turn them out. Cut with a bread knife.
  • Enjoy with a cup of hot coffee/tea.

Note:
1. The walnuts are optional, but if you don't like them chunky you could make it little more fine.
2. Follow the measurements for any baking recipe, as we cannot add anything later.
