Ingredients:
Jackfruit seeds -10
Tamarind extract 1/4 cup
Turmeric - 1/2 tsp
Rasam powder - 1 tsp
Jaggery - 1/4 tsp
Green chili - 2
Coconut milk 1/2 cup
Curry leaves
Salt as needed
Water as needed
Tempering ingredients:
Ghee - t tsp
Asafoetida - a pinch
Mustard - 1/4tsp
Seeragam -1/4 tsp
Red chili - 2
Coriander leaves
Method:
- Pressure cook jackfruit seeds. Peel the outer skin.
- Grind to a smooth paste.
- Transfer to a pot. Add all the ingredients.
- Water as needed to adjust the consistency of your rasam.
- Bring it to a boil and switch it off.
- Temper the above-mentioned ingredients with ghee.
