Aval/Poha Fried Rice


Want to make quick fried rice, then don't miss this recipe. 

Preparation Time:10 mins |Cooking Time:5 mins |Serves: 4

Ingredients:

Aval/Poha (thin) - 1 cup
Ginger - 1 tsp grated
Carrot - 1/4 cup
Beans - 1/4 cup
Cabbage - 1/4 cup
spring onions - 1/4 cup
Red chili paste - 1/2 tsp
Ketchup - 1/2 tsp
Sugar - 1/2 tsp
Salt as needed
Oil


Method:
  • Wash and drain immediately the thin aval/poha.

  • In a pan, to 1 tbsp oil add the grated ginger. When the raw smell goes add the onion part of the spring onions.

  • Add the beans and salt to taste.
  • Add carrots and saute.
  • Add the red chili paste and ketchup.
  • Add the soaked and drained aval/poha. Combine all.

  • Add the chopped cabbage.
  • Add some sugar to enhance the taste.
  • Add white pepper powder.
  • Garnish with spring onions.
  • Mix and serve.
  • Enjoy your quick meal.
